Dolphin Monitoring

Watching Over the Sanctuary's Dolphins

Boat-based monitoring surveys along the Sultanganj–Kahalgaon stretch help track dolphin distribution and presence over time. This work supports evidence-based conservation planning and helps identify stretches of the river that may need additional protection.

Monitoring findings, once verified and published by the Forest Department, will be shared through the Knowledge Centre and the Conservation Dashboard.
