A Sanctuary Built to Protect a River
VGDS exists to protect the Gangetic dolphin and the wider Ganga river ecosystem it depends on. Conservation work here spans monitoring dolphin populations, responding to rescue situations, protecting the river from pollution and disturbance, engaging local communities, and supporting research.
